Hello! Fireworks festival 2006 France (to be continued in another entry)

Hello~to read the chinese words, switch the encoding to chinese simplified. thank u. btw, this is not the complete entry.

I know i promised photos but... haha~ *cough, coughs* u know how much he hates to take photos....

So....yaR

anyway, I... ok, fine... HE took a video of the fireworks using my digital cam... & i uploaded it onto you-tube already.... needs 1 whole day to process so what the hell... before that, i have pictures!

to be frank, wasn't snapping away when the fireworks began.

by the way....

the video taking and the photo-taking is done all sorely by him. digital cams are idiot-proof, it seems. because he never used my cam be4 n he can still manage to take...(".)

anyway, we both arrived late. arranged to meet at 6pm at marina square's entrance. in the end... wa kao! when i reached city hall, i almost fainted. so many people! and the area outside the station was CROWDED like hell...

And i stupidly forgot to bring his thank-you present which is a mini-cake from mini bits and it like, costs $6. damN... lucky i realised, so i hurriedly dashed to J8 with huiyi. she had come over to my house style my hair. love how straight my fringe became under her hands. bid her farewell.. she was going to popular and just bought anything that looked presentable in level 1. this heart-shaped box with biscuits inside and a cute paper box with chocolates inside. the picture on the biscuit box was like, one of a couple. i was staring at it, asking if there's another design. the other alternative was... PINK

YUCKS

in a hurry, so... no time to choose. took mrt and went crazy cuz i was running very late...

practically ran to marina square. then as i was headed there, he smsed me saying he will be a few minutes late. i was like "i'm not there either." (all sms translated from chinese in this entry) yea~ i reached 1st!

then, he smsed me, "hey, where is the main entrance?"

that was some time away from 6pm... "I don't know! i think is the entrance u see when u come out from the linkway."

so, I stood there outside samuel and kevin and looked around, desperately trying to fan myself and drink water. (".) how pathetic. and making sure that my hair wasn't too messy and my lip gloss and blush were still on.

then i spotted this figure. i never doubt my ability to spot him in a crowd. he's calling me. haha~ wait for him to call.... =)

"hello, where are you?" "are you here already?" "i'm sorry, i can't hear you" "Can you hear me?" i know i sound dumb... "sorry, i can't hear you..." ok, this is so stupid. since he is like, in my view and i can like, go over. "oh, i think i see you" so i walked over to him, because i do realise that i should have done that in the first place and spared both of us the shouting of "can you hear me?" and blah....

so, i gave him the presents and he was as usual, "huh? why are you giving me these?"
"to thank you for agreeing to come out with me" "huh?! 可是这样子我很为难诶" "it's ok~I'm so sorry, i forgot to bring the gift i bought. so, i had to make do with these." then, he asked this question "can you help me keep it first?"

haha~

oh yaR... i forgot that rich people only bring their wallet when they go out.

so we went to go eat. checked directory. n i said i think i know the way, so I sorta led him. as we were walking, he suddenly looked as though he had a headache, so i asked him if he was alright. n he told me that he had flu so he 讲话声音很怪. i lead him to.... the wrong escalator. he was asking me "where are you leading me to?!" paiseh lah.... my sense of direction is terrible mah. "对不起，我是中国人，不识路" and i was like, "对不起，我是路痴"so dumb.... then i kept apologising. cuz i felt so stupid. "不要跟我道歉，我觉得压力好大"

finally found the food court after some time. and GOD it was PACKED

so we were like, er- forget it, let's go somewhere else. we seached floors looking for a place to have dinner. and OH GOD i have never seen restaurants so crowded before. I was saying, let's go eat at a restaurant. so he say we split half half. i checked my wallet and announced sadly that i only have twenty plus. he was saying that it's enough. "let's go downstairs and eat sushi." i thought he meant it, "ok, let's go then." "i was just kidding..." (".) continued searching. and god.... even the fast food restaurants were jam packed. can't even find place to eat. time was running out.i was like 怎么办啦？n he gave me such a constructive suggestion "搭地铁到J8吃了才回来"

had to be by the river at 7pm. n we hadn't even begun eating. so, he suggested we just go giant buy snacks n eat. i was totally ok with it (duh.... i skip meals so often) but then... HE, on the other hand, always have meals. as in, really meals. with rice and all that.... eat until quite full that type -.-"

so, i was saying "这样太委屈你了" then i remembered that i had brought his very very early bdae gift. so, i handed it to him and asked him to use it now. he opened the envelope, saw the money and was like, “算了，我们去giant” i was like "HUH?!" n he refused to accept the envelope despite my constant begging n still lead me to giant anyway and we went to the biscuit section. i said "你真的不后悔吗？" he was looking at the biscuits and asking me whether i liked strawberry. i was very very reluctant because it was like so terrible like that. can't even eat a proper meal. being unable to stand me any longer, he gave in and we went to find some place to eat. then, we chanced upon seats in..

包今天 as in 'Pau Today" so we went in, being desperate hungry souls. ok, actually, i was ok with starving but it's so weird to starve your kor. (".)

we sat down and he asked me to order. it was self-service. u go to the counter with a tray and they put whatever want on ur tray and u pay at the cashier there. I took the envelope. got no choice mah. it looked so ex. he gave me his wallet and told me to take from there if it's not enough. i refused to take his wallet and went to order. I dont exactly eat paus. so anyhow choose. i was afraid that it's not enough. the person recommended 鱼翅pau. shark's fin pau. and i was like stone there, sharks's fin?! siao... must be darn ex lah. so, i anyhow choose lah. and the person was recommending this food. he was quite near the counter there so i called him and asked if he wanted it. "no." so, i moved on to the fried food section and ordered 3 stuff... including a spring roll. paiseh, i really duno what the hell i was ordering. i asked if he wanted drinks n he said no.later, i realised that the food was actually quite ok... as in, not $30 plus that kind. so i went to my seat to get my wallet. in the end... we ordered like, totally very little food and it cost me $12 plus.

god....

because he told me not to order too much, (which luckily he did) we din have much food. we were like, sharing. one plate (it's not really a plate, more of a ratten thingy that u put dian xin in) has 3 of this certain type of food. only the fried ones were like, 1 each. (".) so, we ate with chopsticks. and i was refusing to use my hands to tear off the paper underneath the char siew pau. he was like, "用手啦！" n i still insisted on using the chopsticks. being unable to stand me, he repeated it again and so i took his advice. although there was seriously no difference. everything was fine, until i realised that we were taking one from each plate. so there was one left. who was to eat the last one?

so i asked him that and he said, "你咯" deng... please lah.. i had stomach ache for three days straight. so, i said "可是我最近很不舒服" he said with a very serious face, "我也是啊~" diaox...he said leave it there lorh. i pointed out that kids in africa were starving. he happily told me to send it over to them, which i said was unfeasible cuz they would have rot by then. so, we started 'fighting'. he asked me to choose what i wanted to eat so he would eat the remaining one. i told him to choose then i would eat the remaining one. so...he appeared like he was going to do as i said until he asked me "你要这个吗？要我就吃另外一个" "我叫你选嘛！" being unable to stand me, he did as i told. which he should have done in the first place. then, he regretted it, so i asked if it was horrible. he said "比留给你的好吃，早知我留这个给你" oh...

then i was saying that i felt full... he was to put it lightly, shocked. but seriously, i felt totally full then. for some reason, whenever i'm out with him i can survive without food. haha~ =X he commanded, as in, really commanded me to finish those food remaining. there were 4 things left. i made a deal with him to take 1 more other than the one on my plate. then, i started this "this is my boundary. anything outside here is yours " thing and we ended up pushing one plate here and there. it looked like it was gona drop off the table, so i had to let go. then, he resorted to underhand means. and he happily cheated!! cheat! humph! he took his chopsticks, took up this thingy and put it in my plate. so, i was forced to eat....

then i checked the time and realised that we were running late. already 6.40 lidat. after i finished we left and he suggested going to giant to buy water. i knew he was thirsty. he was just trying to save money for me. (it was my treat mah) so, he led me to the beer section and told me to choose one out of all the beer. WOW... -.-"

so, i told him i was only 15 so i wasn't allowed to drink. and he started saying "好小哦" i was quite unhappy about this, "我今年就16岁了，而且你才比我大三岁，了不起啊？" then i found out that he doesn't drink. "我不喝酒的，身体那么差，怎么喝啊？" so, later, he bought pepsi. haha~ so dragging me to the beer section was like, a totaly waste of time O_O

so we queued up and the queue was moving so slowly. he was getting quite 不耐烦because we were sort of running late. for ur info, e fireworks start at 9pm. but we all know singaporeans. kiasu...so, we were forced to be kiasu like everyone. mum called, so i called her back and i realised that i din noe how to walk to esplanade from marina. forgot already. went back to his side and he saw my hp and was asking, "你用那么好的手机啊？" "会吗？很旧了" den i asked him if he knew how to walk. he said he knew and told me not to worry. being me, i asked 你确定吗？ n he was like, 放心啦. he bought sweets.he spotted the sour skittles. and asked me what they were. so i answered that they were sour sweets and said that they were super sour. he was like “那太好了帮我拿”so after that, we headed to the area outside the esplanade.

he was keeping his money and commenting that he was poor. and i was like 你骗谁啊. so he asked 我不算穷谁穷啊？so i said 我咯...n i told him to stop being stubborn and accept my gift. he was saying his birthday is like ages away. so i told him i was taking o level on his bdae so i cant meet him to give him or anything like that. he asked me which subject and i was laughing, answering frankly that it was physics practical.

he noes the shopping centre better than i do lah. so 丢脸. oh well~ i've always liked the feeling of not needing to worry that u'll get lost cause u can depend on someone else to lead the way for u. i asked if he knew where mcdonalds was, cuz i remembered u need to pass through mcdonalds to get out. he was like, "u really never came here before?" obviously, he'd been here before. he was asking why i din come with my parents. i was saying that it was like, so high class, so not me.

then, we went out of marina square and OH gosh. there were so many people at the flight of stairs down to the road we needed to cross to get to the area. turns out....the homework i did of finding out where the best spot was was totally redundant. he went before. he went last saturday. i din want to know who he went with. would rather not know and save myself from feeling sad. so, i followed him down the stairs, across the road. all i knew was to follow him. haha~ he pointed to a restaurant above and said it'd be very good if u could watch from above. we were both lamenting about how ex it must be.

finally found a spot. we were very very near the area where the fireworks would be lit from. I saw... ziyuan with his friends. i pray to god that he din see the two of us. anyway, he chose this spot. we were quite far away from the railings and the river. he sat down and i was about to sit down beside him when the family in front of us moved away. -.-"

we were like, huh?! "他们怎么走了？" i duno if he was trying to be sarcastic, "你太有魅力了" (".) what has this got to do with me? we had to wait for exactly 2 hours. so, i took out my mp3 player. he said it was going to take so long and that he was right in front that time he came. i was totally amused by this. because he doesn't strike me as someone who can push his way through the crowd to get to the front. he was saying 新加坡人太守规矩了。中国人没礼貌 n he said he prided himself for being a chinese because he was able to get through a crowd easily. he told me he was standing right in front that day he came cuz when everybody stood up, he squeezed right in front n i was like saying, 你好贱哦 haha~he said, he should have brought his notes to read. then i spotted a lot of kids. so i asked him, "那么多人，带小孩子来好危险哦" n u noe what he said...? "我也是啊~" i was like... (".) great... he good lorh. suaning me, saying i like a child lorh.... humph~ then he like think i so dumb, he asked me "你明白我的意思吗？" n i gave him this '哇靠' face. he wanted to sleep at first, he told me to call him when it started. then... he opened the sour skittles and ate one and all of a sudden, he din want to sleep anymore. then he started to force me to eat sour skittles. yucks. i told him i tried it before and that din satisfy him. so i had to eat because he put it in my hand. he asked if my hp had any games. so i let him play with it. 3D rally was a racing game and he had a lot of fun playing it.

hen, i got a reply from hweeli and the phone was ringing like mad. so he returned it to me to reply.someone called him and he was talking.it's not polite to eavesdrop. when i was still smsing, he had ended the call. he told me "不要传简讯" "为什么？" he was like, stumped... and he said 没事. i was like, 那你干吗那么说？"我随口说说的"

i felt that he was being quite unfair. y he can call ppl i cannot sms?! so i said, "那我也可以叫你不要打电话，不要接电话" when i was done, i passed my hp to him. then, he told me "你刚刚吃的方法不对，要两个一起吃"n he forced 2 sour skittles into my hand. i was like... aaarrrrggghhhh... so, i was yet again, forced to eat. while he happily continued playing with my hp. I was like, very bored.

i mean.... what could i do?

it was getting dark, so I couldn't read my storybook. n listening to mp3 is like... huh? lidat only... i leant over to watch him play for a while. he kept getting bronze and it sort of frustrated him. i kept suan-ing him and said that he was 逊. he said 是你手机太烂了. so i happily said, "不知道是谁刚刚说我的手机很好的诶？这个人好像现在就坐在我旁边，然后他好像姓程诶" haha~ he got nothing to say... i won!

ok lah, to be fair, he got a couple of silver. =D n the game itself is not easy lah. because i was bored mah... then i'm not like cai jing. although in reality, i'm living in my own 'Goong' because i have this 'xin-jun' who is darn leng mo one n i have to be the enthu and crazy person. so i could not entertain him like hweeli suggested. i was so bored until i fall asleep like that...he sort of realised i drifting off to lala land le so he tell me not to sleep. "可是很闷诶" "睡了就看不到了" i very happily said, "你会叫醒我的" what an annoying person, he replied, "你睡了我就溜了" this got me quite upset so i din sleep, obviously, n instead, was like 撒娇ing to him. i asked why he still come when he watch already. he said "因为你叫我来啊~" AwW... ok, dun mind me. felt happy for some time, then went into bored mood again. this family in front of us got one little girl. cause i bored mah, he so 无情, play hp games den leave me alone to rot. so, I look at them. e gal is so cute! she asked her aunt, 我们在等什么 n everyone started laughing cuz she wait so long still duno what she waiting for. then later she saw me looking n i very 可怜cuz tat 'kind' kor of mine ignoring me, she treated me to a pocky stick. so sweet.

then later her aunt scold her i think, so she come to sit in front of me. i played with her and talked to her. but we got 代沟and sumtyms, i dun really understand what she trying to say. but she was so cute. i realise that i have a soft spot for little kids. then, he returned me my hp so I started showing the girl, who is called rachel, my hp. i let her play with my number pad and slide my phone up and down n look at my pictures. i was like, narrating all the people in my pictures there. chewyan, yindy, 我歌咏的朋友，你知道什么是歌咏吗？很多人一起唱歌，有男生也有女生的vernon 我可爱的学弟...den i let her look at my neoprints and ask if i prettier in there. she say i prettier in neoprints. haha~ then i tell her i acting cute in one neoprint. she ask why i need to act cute. then i answered cuz i not cute mah. haha~ then she saw this neoprint with me, linxiu and huiyi and she asked, 你的孩子啊？

i was so tickled by this. n i was like, 我还没结婚，不可以有孩子...haha~we were scrolling down the pictures in the folder, then we came across the neoprint of me and him. so i was pointing to him, and saying to rachel 这是他. din really see his reaction then. but he doesn't seem as amused by the little girl as i was. then i was reading out to her all the things that she pressed on my number pad. when she pressed 3, i had to read 'three'. she kept pressing three and i asked if it was her favourite number. she said yes. n then later she pressed # n i forgot what it was. din noe how to read it out to her. so, i turned to wenfeng, whom i had sort of been ignoring, and asked him what it was. he said it was 井号 n i was like, what's that in english? 不知道. so i turned back to rachel and continued to play with her. then, wenfeng suddenly stood up. so obviously, i asked, 怎么啦？

脚酸...he got up and started moving his foot. i continued to play with rachel. he sat down again , n again he din say anything. wasnt paying much attention to him, actually. then later, her father called her and she was like , "你走开啦，我在跟姐姐玩"which got me all shocked. so i told her to faster go apologise. which she did, and she also 撒娇very expertly. "daddy, sorry..." "u were so fierce to me just now."

kao, i need to learn from her man~ haha~ with rachel gone, i noticed that wenfeng was staring at his drink so i asked, "你干吗对着你的水发呆啊？" "不知道还可以看哪里..." n i was like "看我啊~我那么好看" ok, fine, was trying to be lame. den he asked me what songs my mp3 player haf. n he started looking at it. i passed to him. then i realised that i stored some picts of him inside. "等一下！"so i took it back and deleted everything first before i handed it to him again. he so funny. he anyhow press until he shut it down, i had to help him so many times and then he saw the new 陶?folder. and he was like, ei? 你有听他的歌啊？so i asked him, u like him? when actually.... i knew.... that he likes tao ze. hahaha~ ok, never mind... (".) he nodded and asked if i got buy his album. i said no, i download illegally cuz i poor, unlike him. he say rich ppl got compt can download den put in mp3 player. n i was like, u got Ipod leh! he was like, where got, trying to deny... "i saw it that day at the airport. dont try to deny it" haha~ i won again~ *victory sign*

den we listen to 似曾相识. which is OMG really nice!!! btw, it's the 1st song in my video. den got some very high parts so i ask he can reach arh, he bass leh, wun he feel zi bei listening to this...? he change to a song called不爱 which is really high for guys. and i boasted tat i can reach. den he sae i 厉害嘛. i said it's obviously becuz i'm a gal. he say he 混进choir one, i was saying 可是我觉得你唱歌很好听~

as we were listening halfway to e song tao ze and jolin sang, ppl started standing up. it was 10 minutes away from e starting of e fireworks display.
