my sweet 16

OK lah, it wasn't very sweet.

because I was quite PMS....(".) hope nobody minds. =X

well, in the morning I was to meet linxiu so she could teach me physics and e maths. in the end, well, not much was accomplished.

hweeli and chewyan gave me my birthday gifts. =D

thank u so much! luv both of ya. like hweeli said, no matter what happens in the future, i must be kai kai xin xin de. n i'm having sore throat. so i can't have the cadburry chocolate u gave me. but i like the 'princess' cup. although my cousin gave me a winnie the pooh one. do i look like I break cups often?! everybody's giving me cups. haha~ O_O

thank u, chewyan. the earrings are too glam so I couldn't wear them today. I wore a peach top with 3/4 white pants plus sport shoes today. like quite inappropriate with the earrings. =D i like the purple one! n the necklace. although i don't like beads. haha~ u noe I like those little shiny bling blings when it comes to necklaces. haha~ O_O

went to swensens the day before. ate this chewy chocolate ice-cream thingy with my bro n sis. yum yum!

yesterday i had black forest cake from Han's. =) my sis loves it to bits but I find it... satisfactory.

haha~ she will kill me for that (".)

so yar...

then when it was nearing 1 I went to change. I asked wenfeng to meet me at 1.40 at somerset mrt station. hmM... so, he asked me who else was coming n asked if I would mind if he brought xiang wang along.

and my first reaction was...

HUH?!

i thought xiang wang doesn't like me?! i mean... duNO... juz haf this feeling...

so i said, of course i don't mind but he doesn't seem to like me. wenfeng was saying "he's very happy to be celebrating ur birthday." I was like... HmM... really?

so I met them at the mrt station. for once, wenfeng was there earlier than me. xiang wang was there too. we were quite awkward at first. he said he saw me when he came back during teachers' day. we didn't say hi to each other... because we are like strangers, except that we know of each other's existence because of wenfeng and choir. but mainly because of wenfeng.

so we walked to cineleisure. wenfeng presented me with a present.

it was put in a kalm's plastic bag. Kalm's!!!! what do u think of when u hear of the word? EX. damn EX lah. it's like precious thoughts, only worse. at the time, i didn't know the gift was from him. I was asking him to hold it first because my stuff are seriously heavy. but i took it from him later when he asked "don't u want to open it?" we were going up the escalator out of the mrt station.

so i asked who wrapped the gift. because... seriously, it was wrapped really well. =)

xiang wang and wenfeng were pointing to themselves. i was quite confused by them. I asked the same question again and they did the same thing again. (".) so I was like, confused. then, xiang wang was saying he wanted to check the gift. I was totally confused again. why must u check the gift if u're the one who gave it? "why do u need to check it when u prepared it?" wenfeng was smiling and smiling. xiang wang was saying he wanted to check if there were any things inside that weren't suitable for a 16 year old's eyes for fear that it would adversely affect my growth psychologically. I was quite... huh? "ok, u check it then." wenfeng was smiling and smiling again. xiang wang took the plastic bag from me, took out the gift and was trying to see what was inside. then it struck me. the gift is from wenfeng. xiang wang was laughing, saying that he couldn't tell what it was as he held it up against the light. he returned it to me and told me "actually the gift is from wenfeng." OOHHH.... haha~ no wonder. so i asked wenfeng, "what's inside?" xiang wang was saying "it's a present." i was totally frozen."what's wrong? that wasn't incorrect," he said. "haha~ of course i know it's a present. what is it?" xiang wang was saying,"oh, i will give u a more specific answer. it is a present that is wrapped."

OMG

hweeli... go n learn from the master of lameness...

so i was saying "YAR! No wait. it's a present that is wrapped with a wrapper with bears on it." xiang wang was saying that I was specific and precise. i forgot what cheng yu he used. but yar, he used a chinese idiom n he was marvelling that he knew how to use chinese idioms. OMG who doesn't know that his chinese is great?

wenfeng was like laughing and laughing. fanstastic lorh. his friend bully me he still pretend he hear nothing.(".)

so we went inside. sometimes, ok, most of the time they would talk in sichuan language. n the poor me. don't understand what they are talking about. it's impossible to be able to tell. (.")

so we were reaching cineleisure. then, xiang wang was saying that wenfeng was his 大哥. i was asking, "i thought that wenfeng is younger than u?" xiang wang was saying that in terms of age, yes, but in reality, he's the younger one. I was asking "因为他比较有钱吗？" "不只是钱，他什么都有。我没有的他都有。我有的缺点他都没有，有的都是优点。我的优点他也都有了。" he sounded like he was strongly recommending wenfeng to be my boyfriend or something. wenfeng was looking quite embarrassed. he is very easily shy whenever he's being praised. haha~

then we went inside cineleisure. and....i asked them to go the other way so we could take the escalators. and haha~ they were looking at me and wenfeng was saying "干吗不坐电梯？" i was totally... aaahhh.... do u have to make me lose face like that?! xiang wang was saying "oh, u take the escalator? actually, u can do that. but the escalator only leads to the 6th floor at most." I was quite grateful to him. apparently my feeling that he doesn't like me isn't true. (".) opS. so we took the lift n checked into Room 12.

anyway, xiang wang and wenfeng are both really good singers. n i sucked. partly because my voice was horrible. and i didn't feel like singing thanks to the FREEZING air-con. it's cineleisure k-box by the way. ever been there? if not, go experience the 'Coolness'. it's so cold that even guys like wenfeng and xiang wang were going "it's so cold..." i was wearing so much less than them. (sleeveless top compared to their t-shirts) wenfeng was in jeans. xiang wang in shorts. anyway, your legs rarely feel cold. (".) speaking of wenfeng's shirt. it was so nice! did i mention i love it when guys wear white shirts? it was collared and the design was so nice!

i suppose they had fun singing. they were entertaining themselves as they sang. so i was entertained as well. wenfeng kept urging me to sing. n i just kept refusing because my throat was terrible and i could barely reach those very easy notes that i have always been able to reach.wenfeng suggested that he and xiang wang sing the birthday song. i was like- erR haha~ no thanks. so weirD... birthday song in k-box...

then I was bored mah, so i asked wenfeng if i could open his gift. he said of course. so i did.

and it was a teddy bear! aaawwwWWW... wenfeng asked me if i thought it was cute. i nodded. it is really cute!!! besides, it's from him. =) i'd like anything he gave me. just as long as it isn't really something weird, disgusting or freaky.

so i put it on my lap throughout the whole time i was in k-box after i took the bear out from the wrapper. did i mention it was well-wrapped? haha~ =P and i was playing with it and hugging it cause i was freezing...(".) when i was looking at the tag on the bear's ear, wenfeng suddenly exclaimed, '啊！！' and i was like 'huh?' he asked me to pass him the bear for a while. apparently, he forgot to check if the price tag was still there. (".) it wasn't. he passed it back to me, relieved. xiang wang looked on this with amusement. later wenfeng took the bear from me and started playing with it. I was quite amused because... he's always saying that i'm childish. although I am really childish. but yar... haha~=P

unfortunately, later, i had this pms wave sweeping over me. so i went out for a while and walked around the k-box area. it was the 8th floor one btw. people were staring at me as they walked past. n then i started tearing because.... i was really afraid that this would be the last time i would ever see him...

then i went back into the room. wenfeng was standing by the door, waiting for me to come in. he asked if we could go pay the bill. we checked out early by the way. even before 5. (all 3 of us were freezing, as in really FREEZING) I nodded and took out a piece of tissue from my bag to blow my nose. i don't know if they realised that i had been crying. but they acted like they didn't see anything. they went out first and waited for me outside. I was blowing my nose and drying my face for any signs of tears before i went out.

then the person said that it was $46.96. I was going to take out the money from my wallet. but wenfeng took out a $50 note and put it on the counter. seriously, he looked so 帅 when he did that. haha~ =D he gave me the receipt. i was asking him how much to pay him when he said "不用了，我请你" in a very 潇洒and 帅way. wahh! haha~

then xiang wang asked if we could go play pool. he asked me first then he told wenfeng to go K-pool. i was saying just now in the room that i might not be allowed in. xiang wang was saying "16 years old. aren't u 16 today?" wenfeng said that there's no age limit. wenfeng asked him if i was ok with it and xiang wang replied yes. so we went to k-pool.

this is the first time i've been in there. obviously. since i'm just only 16 today.

I didn't play at all. because pool is normally played by 2 people, taking turns. it's so extra for me to add in. anyway, i don't know how to play. wenfeng was asking me if i wanted to learn and offered to teach me. but i didn't want to.

so i sat at the bench and watched them play. actually, i was still feeling quite sad. but then wenfeng...

has this gift of being able to cheer me up. he was quite terrible today. he was saying that both his and xiang wang's hands r totally numb and it's very difficult to play.

i never knew that pool was such a challenging game. it's really difficult. it's really entertaining to watch the 2 of them play. they take turns to miss. or they hit the ball they are supposed to use to hit the rest of the balls into the hole. haha~

it's really funny to watch them cursing or laughing each time they miss a simple shot. n they would curse each other, hoping that the ball won't go in. wenfeng was resting his stick on the table and he blocked the hole in which the ball xiang wang hit was supposed to go into. xiang wang was saying that he cheated and he was acting innocent. so cute. haha~

n they were playing songs over the radio. i kept myself entertained by watching them and singing. they were also playing and singing for certain songs. and I really want to say... wenfeng is really very shuai!

so i had a great time. n was cheered up. because i have never been able to sit and watch him for so long without worrying that he'll ask me why i'm looking at him. they played quite a lot of rounds. they used table 20 btw.

then wenfeng went to the other end of the room. i wondered what he was doing. xiang wang came over to sit near me. he said that wenfeng was never so terrible (as in his standard in pool) before. he said that it must be because we were in the air-conditioned room for too long and their hands are now frozen. he said that they have played many times and wenfeng would always be able to do very well and the shots xiang wang has problems with, wenfeng would be able to hit the ball into the hole easily. he said wenfeng is better at controlling the strength to use and he knows what angle to hit the ball at. I was nodding. hmM...why is he telling me these? anyway, it didn't matter to me. whether he sucks at pool (which i don't think he does, after hearing what xiang wang said and seeing him succeed in scoring some difficult shots) or whether he's an expert, it doesn't matter. I like him all the same. =X

ok, what i just said was really mushy. *goosebumps* wenfeng came back, he had changed the stick and his luck almost immediately changed for the better. so, i just watched them having fun and cursing each other to lose.

when we left, they were charged with $16 plus.

then wenfeng said that they were going home. obviously, i was quite sad. but then it's true that nobody can accompany someone forever. so... yaR

they said that they were taking the bus. wenfeng asked what mode of transport i was taking. so i said the mrt. then he said they would send me to the mrt station. so nice!=) obviously i didn't want to be separated so soon. but oh well... they had accompanied me for... 5 hours plus.

then wenfeng who was originally walking in front with xiang wang fell back so he could walk beside me and asked me what's wrong... i was saying that i was fine. he said that i'm very quiet today and said he and xiang wang aren't bad guys. haha~ obviously not lah. i'm just... sad that we're parting? haha~if i had said that, i wouldn't be here right now. (".)

so we reached the mrt station entrance. surprisingly they took the escalator down to the station. then when we reached the area to tap the ez-link cards, wenfeng told me that they would take the train to city hall. i was pleasantly surprised by this change of plans. then we went down to take the mrt. we were going in different directions. then the train to marina bay arrived. (their train) OK... so i was telling them to go. wenfeng was saying they would wait for me to get on my train first.

i was like... huh?

but nonetheless, i was very touched. obviously. so sweet.

so xiang wang said that there was a seat there. wenfeng walked over there and we followed. then he overshot the seat so xiang wang called him back. xiang wang pointed to the seat and told me to sit. (there was only space for 2 people) i was feeling awkward. because then they'd both be standing and i'm the only one sitting. so i said that i'd stand. they were like qutie puzzled why i chose to stand.

but it made no difference. because at that moment, my train came. O_O

so much for wishing that we had more time together. wenfeng said that my train was here. xiang wang pointed out that their train hadn't left yet. wenfeng was telling him they'd take the next one then. wenfeng told me to have a happy day. xiang wang wished me a happy birthday. then we bade each other goodbyes. and i got onto the train and chose to stand right by the doors. I was looking out to where they were standing. they were still standing there, looking in. so i waved goodbye and i felt terribly sad as the train started moving and they, (oh ok, he) wisked out of sight.

oh well, today's entry is supposed to be sweet.

had a great time.

and i really like the presents from everyone.

love the teddy bear from wenfeng. this is like, the first gift he ever gave me. smile, smile, smilez~ n it's so cute!!!

what shall i name it?

anyway, the instant he left my sights, i sms-ed him to thank them for the day. and him for the present and the treat to k-box. this is sort of our tradition. each time he spends a day with me, i'd sms him the moment after we part to thank him for his company.

and so he said 不用谢

well, what an unforgettable sweet 16. shall remember today forever. =D
